Why is GCC buying 217 Ipod?

Maybe we should just ban fast food.

Did you know that a Double Whopper with Cheese and Bacon is 2500 calories? More if you have chips with it. Thats a whole days intake for most people.

Fast food is a health hazard and should be treated the same way as other health hazards. Start by banning advertising.

Also on a diet ... years of not eating healthy, drinkng too much and now getting older, etc.... daily calorie allowance 1400 calories!!!

I doubt a whopper would keep me going for 2 days!!!!!

Why not give 5594 prizes of £20 quid book vouchers
than 649 "exclusive" techno prizes.

I know that will probably sound cheapskate by todays
standards, but at least they'll learn something.

P.S. In the 70's you would be bloody greatfull for a
book token

Just another thought - that I hope has been thought out by the schools/councils - do these kids not run the risk of bullying for being the lucky few to go the distance of 100 healthy meals and win an ipod?

imagine sitting through 100 stuffed pitta pockets only for your ipod to be nicked and your head flushed down the lavvy 8O

I wonder who exactly in the government thought
up this idea. Let me be the first to stick their head down
the lavvy

The fuelzone site hurt my eyes - if you cant sit and read a website it might as well not exist. Couldn't face reading a word...

Usability: FAILURE

I prefer to code in background: magenta text: lime ::):

Lime text on a magenta background can trigger
seizure. Magenta/orange and lime/yellow
are my pet hates. They should have dropped
support in the HTML revisions for such crimes :x

What are GCC doing to encourage healthy excersise?

Seems to me that having the right diet is only half the battle, why not reward them with brand new bicyles or something to get them off their fat arses 'n away from the telly instead of encouraging them to play computer games?

Maybe more sport at school. I understand there are a couple of pitches in Victoria Park that are available.

On another note, could GCC not have negotiated some sort of discount rather than paying full face value for a bulk order of 217 iPods? Even without negotiating a discount they could have bought them for less - Amazon's current price is £195, saving them over 5 grand.
