I imagine kids can sneak on every so often and use a pitch for a bit, free of charge, if no one is on, but are you really arguing that this is better than having pitches they can just muck about on any time they want for free?
Even in the time when these pitches were being used for Saturday League games I have never seen kids voluntarily playing on them. They are Red Ash, Blaes, a skin peeling surface with no redeeming features.
They have been using them as overspill car parking for years as I also previously mentioned. Let me add there were no complaints when they did this.
I refer to my letter above as to where they do play amongst other bits of the park.
You come on here like Ron Manager of the Fast Show with your and your love of the red ash. Only he's got a better grasp of reality.
