Surely that wouldn't print right? Would be a 'mirror' share :?:

See there is a good bit of disruption on the lines today and tomorrow

I booked a ticket to Oban yesterday for Thursday as I need to go up there, bloody last train runs tonight at 18:00 then they are shutting the line

Maybe buses (maybe no) & I don't think the roads are going to be any better than the railway...................

Its a funeral and it couldn't have been planned at a worse time......................jeez

Abellio the lot who won the Scot rail contract, rather strangely given their record down South, are already trying to wriggle out some of their franchise commitments even before they have taken over.
He advocated for the weak against the strong, the poor against the rich and labour against capital.

Diverted to Dalmeny, where they'll reverse direction before heading into Edinburgh.

Thanks Gap. I recall seeing this but was not sure if this was the "final" plan. Seems a sensible idea.

Doesn't seem entirely finalised in terms of what will happen to the 15-min frequency, but the Dalmeny reverse thing seems to be a definite according to all reports.

Shame the Dalmeny chord hasn't been built, could have done away with the reversing nonsense and made it a bit less painful.

I work next to Polmadie depot and the class 47 pictured below has been sat there all week, not something you usually see in there. Came in tonight and there is also a class 90 and a class 55 (55003 named Meld to be precise) sitting there too. Makes a change from the usual Virgin stock!

I went to take a picture of the class 55 after it got light this morning, only to find that very class 47 parked right in front of it. Is this all down to Abellio's motive power unit shortage?

Anybody been following the problems with West Coast Railway, it's recent SPAD and failures, allegedly in its safety systems? WCR is currently suspended from operating on network rail and given it crews 75% of steam charters hardly any steam trains are on the network just now. They also run the Jacobite from Fort William to Mallaig so it's not clear what will happen to that.
