How about Harmony Row?

Pity it's in the middle of Govan.

Wee bit of trivia- There are no "Streets" in Drumchapel.

Weird sounding street names? "Clayslaps Road" off Sauchiehall street must be a candidate.

Nelson Mandella Place was called that as a political gesture to embarrass the South African Government. The South African consulate was there and they had to use his name in their address - they upped sticks and left soon after.

Dandy Row, now long gone from Anderston, must be a contender

I have a book with a pic of 'Black Boy Close' but I don't know the history relating to the name.

I understand that's the shortest road in Glasgow.

A little way off the beaten track, but Whip-ma-whop-ma-gate in York's a cracker!

I've always thought Bolivar Terrace was suitably grand for the nice buildings thereabouts on the South Side.

Cherrybank Road isn't too bad.

Although Croftfoot isn't the best for originality - Thorncroft, Croftpark, Croftside, Ashcroft, Croftmont, Crofton, Highcroft, Bencroft, Glencroft, Crofthill etc.
