Yeah it does, I think that's the lens compression or something (i'm not too techy about this sort of thing :? )

I have several glittery Goodyear stickers that I was given when the factory closed down. 79/80?.

My maw & gran worked at Goodyear for a while :-)

There's still an old gateway standing, i'll have to get a photo.

I'm sure my fellow photographers here will correct me if i'm wrong-

The reason the water tower appears closer to the buildings is simply due to the type of lens being used in the clip. As in photography, a lens longer than a "standard" would give the impression that objects in the background are closer to those in the foreground.

On the subject of the Drum, i've uploaded a wee vid i made to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the Drum.

It's a wee bit tongue in cheek, but reflects the "ghostly" changes of the late 70's early 80's in it.

Enjoy!

Absolutely fantastic TC. As a drummy boy I can safely say i loved my life there. It really pisses me off that the drum gets so much negative publicity from people that have never lived their. ::):
Thank you. And why not.

Great stuff, Kenny, it's the everyday stuff that matters, maybe not now, but give it twenty years or so, how many folk are recording the Drum in 2007ish?
