I used to lived in the Germiston high rise flats.

Was'nt the caravans bit called the "showmans guild" pity the 'blind tunnel' is not in the photo.
Is this gonna be a standup fight, sir, or another bughunt?

yeah the blind tunnel, I remember trying to get to sleep in my grans and all you could hear was the car horns tooting when they were going through.

Might go for a wander up that way next time im home and try and get some comparison photos.

I've got some photos somewhere of the blind tunnel. Will try and dig them out over the week and post them here :D

About time they put traffic lights on it, only about 40 years after so many complaints about the racket. My cousin lived in the same tower block as you, we lived in Balornock and my gran in Royston we used to walk through there when visiting, it was bloody lethal walking through that tunnel. I also used to deliver the milk around germiston
