Calling someone a drillbit.

As in a small, boring tool.

There might be hope for some Neds after all, if they watch morally-fibred programmes like Flipper.

One a charity cycle ride from Glasgow to Loch Lomond a few years ago, we all had number tags pinned to us. While cycling along the old rail line through Whiteinch, I heard this gem:
"number wan oh five six? there's fuckin' hunners of em!"

No, they come in all shapes, sizes and ages. Especially in the Haghill area.

Oh, that thing about Flipper cannot be surpassed.

My favourites are "bolt, ya rocket" and "yair ripped at hamey" from my Kilwinning youth.

Adult neds are my favourites - if you ever go on holiday, there is always a "Jim and Mary" on your flight - last trip to the States it was gold jewellery and matching Scotland football tops ::):

What I like about this site is that there is no ned like angst. Its embarrassing when mature people ridicule and hurt others like kids.....

I must admit though .......

I still love the sprinkles bit. Cannie wait to see my nieces faces when I use it....
