Rockvilla Public School
This in on Possil Road Glasgow, it was a wonderful and very unique school ,which burnt down a few years ago. it sat on top of a rock, The only access was by staircases.
Theres not a lot left.

I watched it burn down... I believe it was VE day and the fire brigade stopped for the silence.

Is the canal very close by? I know the British Waterways have a building close at hand. The road beneath the bridge is always wet.

That area has some really good stone. It looks like there is some great sandstone by the bridge area.

I think it may have been a whisky bond at one time.

I've always wondered what it was, such an odd building.

Well, you learn something new everyday!

Is this better?

Freshly taken this morning using the mirror reflex lens from the other side of the road behind the trees etc :)

The 'mushroom factory' sign is gone and the building has been barricaded up heavily and lots of crap dumped across the gate

my dad went to that school , and he said the pupils just nicknamed it `the rock` sounds kinda cool for a school
