Rooftopping in Glasgow

Has anyone ever went rooftopping in Glasgow? This is another aspect of UE that interests me.
If so, what was the highest or most interesting building whos roof you got onto? I feel like trying it out soon :>

I get on roofs every day in the city centre(thru work). Been on most "famous" ones Cad Doro etc.
They are very dangerous places to be!
Not being too self righteous...but do you know how many people have died/got badly injured as a result of this pursuit?

The highest roof in the city centre Iv been on (the only roof really) is that of the Glasgow College of Building and Printing... spectacular BTW!!! Theres a concrete viewing platform that, when u stand on it, gives the impression ur on a diving board... 14 storys in the air!

Im none too sure... Id imagine only for students tho. Its kept locked (obviously) but its not particularly unusual for someone to be up there ...shall I see what I can do???

I got onto the roof of my college today, albeit accompanied by the chief health and safety officer. Not exactly true UE, but an interesting experience nevertheless.

Haha, I never thought of that. It could be like those people who climb every Munro, except with the added danger (read: fun) of dodging smackheads and refugees ;D

need to do more of this. highest rooftop i've been on is an office block on Sauchiehall Street, as well as one beside the Kingston Bridge. and also climbed to the top of some scaffolding outside my halls of residence one night - don't think I was even drunk at the time. this must have been during my 'coming out of the trees' phase

it's great fun. I've climbed onto many a high structure, but this is the first time I've ever photographed the view. I'd like to get onto the roof of the South Lanarkshire Council (SLC) buildings across the road from the college: a whole 18 storeys high, the highest building for miles around.
No chance I can blag my way in there, though. Security is tight as a drum. I'm going to call in the morning and ask permission.

Aly can you please clarify, should that read "ridden a bike on the roof of Goldbergs" or "ridden a bike off the roof of Goldbergs"? Either way I raise my hat to you!
