I have my family coming over from America .... I have to pick them up when they arrive, and they said they are coming in at Abbotsichn airport. Is Abbotsichn just the original name Glasgow INT Airport (GLA)?

Thanks for clearing that up. I was thinking the same, then I started doubting myself

And on the itinerary it was spelled as in the title (abbotsichn, as opposed to the correct way of Abbotsinch), which was what made me really

Any research been done on Renfrew airport. Think it was
initially used by the RAF then went into the commerical
sector.
