Two sisters?

Postby ant » Fri Apr 08, 2005 9:38 pm

Someone was telling me a story about two sisters. They are both roughly the same age and in their youth were very close. Both were considered "lookers," receiving lots of admiring comments about their beauty. No-one knows the reason why, but they had a silly argument and "fell out," they then went their separate ways. The younger sister seemed unable to cope and started having doubts about her attractive she was. She started to take less pride in her appearance and was willing to prostitute herself for money. Gradually her looks faded, her face scarred, her trim figure bloated, showing all the signs of middle age. She knew she had destroyed her looks but no matter how hard she tried she just "couldn't get it together"
The years had been a lot kinder to her big sister. She knew what were her best attributes were and had no intention of losing them. She was not prepared to compromise her appearance and ruthlessly enforced a regime of self discipline and self control. Self preservation was her goal and for her it worked. She's still receiving compliments, she's still a great beauty.
"Not bad for some-one who is over 1300!"

One of the sisters does have a bit of a reputation of just wearing fur coats and no knickers. She also, allegedly is a bit "tight-fisted" I've been told when you go to visit, she assumes you have already had your tea.
