Facinating stuff HH 8O The sort of thing which should done more often instead of completely doing away with fine buildings.
(Although it's a shame the wee red vans will never again run in & oot of there).

What's the cost difference in retaining the facade, and adding a new interior, as opposed to a totally new build ?

Now thats what I call facade retention. It must be one of the few times a Glasgow developer/builder has lived up to that point in the contract....so far. For buildings of architectural interest if one cannot refurbish or convert a building then the next best method should be facade retention.

I worked here for a couple of years in my yoof as a postie. If there ever was a tunnel, it's probably been blocked up with a mixture of long lost drunk postmen and undelivered mail. an interest in getting pished was almost an essential requirement to get a job there.
