I recorded this R3 feature at the time on an old fashioned cassette tape, which I still have, in case anybody wants to borrow it.

This tragic tale was unknown to me before I heard the programme. I hadn't come across it in any of the usual books about Glasgow murders, probably because the case never went to trial since of course Mr. Biswas committed suicide.

The Mitchell Library will have the newspapers of the day on Microfiche.
