Collective terms for neds

Postby shuttle534 » Wed Oct 27, 2004 1:58 pm

Can anyone think what the official collective terms for neds should be?
1 ned = a ned
2-5 neds = a bag of neds
5-10 neds = a shower of neds
10-15 neds - a gaggle of neds
15 + = a shite of neds

Someone said one to me once and I'm sure it was a French word but it escapes me now. (it was funny though)

I always thought that a "gang" of neds could be used to describe a gathering of any size. As for your French word, a merde of neds?
There is no opinion, however absurd, which men will not readily embrace as soon as they can be brought to the conviction that it is generally adopted.

A Swarm of neds?

Apparently there was a swarm of neds in my town a couple of weekends. Some ned smashed some guy in the head with an iron bar when he left a pub not knowing this guys mates were inside the pub. Big fight with neds swarming from all over.
