Hi, just discovered this website. fanbloodytastic.
My work takes me to various railway stations.
I have been in a few tunnels and rooms under Central Station. Unfortunatly i didn't have my camera with me.
I do have pics taken from the top of Central station roof looking out over Glasgow. Also Shields rd depot roof..
My best pics at moment have to be the ones i took from the very top (yes, up the towers) of the Erskine Bridge. What a view that was.
i've spent hours looking at the various pics on this site.
Absolute class.
:D

Hello, hello. I stay in Clydebank too. Nice name you got there, although I must warn you, I actually know someone in Clydebank that's a Rangers supporter, just don't tell anyone. It's not me, oh no, I prefer to sit on the fence and shout "Up The Jags!".

Oh, and get those pics posted. NOW dagnammit!

Hi guys - unfortunately, you can't post pics directly to the groups. What you have to do is load them into a photo hosting site, which will then give you a "tag" for the pic you have just uploaded - this is just an instruction that tells the software running the forum to go to the photohosting site for the pic when anyone downloads the discussion that you want the pic to be in.

The tag will normally look something like this:

[ img ]www.photobucket.com/albumname/picname.jpg [ /img ]

I've added spaces inside the square brackets in this example to stop it actually going to look for a pic there!

It's nowhere near as difficult as it sounds. A good host many people use is http://www.photobucket.com. Go there and sign up, it's free (although donations are welcome) and fairly easy to use. The times in which you can sign up are restricted though, so if you're outwith those times, check back later.

It's fairly obvious and straightforward there how to create albums and upload photos, and when you've uploaded it, it'll give you, amongst other things, a ready made tag for that pic that you can copy and paste into your message.

Any problems, give me a shout!

Thanks for the explanation Gary. Another member gave me those instructions, but every time I go to photobucket, it is the wrong time! I'll try again later.
