German arthouse- go for the Klaus Kinski/Werner Herzog remake of Nosferatu plenty of underground catacombes at the start with a nice Popol Vuh soundtrack.

Alternatively go for the original1920's b/w Nosferatu.

An excellent story and follow up. UE with style :)

Shame about the conventional response of 'authority'. How come they can act unfettered and always clear out something like this without without any difficulty, but can't shift scumbag squatters with similar efficiency when they steal people's houses?

That is the best thing I've read this morning. The Parisian catacombs (and really, any man-made abandoned underground cave-like things) hold a kind of magic power over me.

And they set up a theatre down there! That's so farking rad!!
