Mori Has Passed Away :(

Postby AzimScot » Sat Sep 07, 2013 12:03 am

Hello,

This is Mori son, I thought I would let you all know that the great man Mori has passed away my Dad on morning of 27th August aged 54. Please pray and wish him a good hereafter.

His main goal in life was to unite people through TV/Film trying to regenerate the old lyceum to its former glory days. We the sons hope to make his dream live on god willing.

Azim.

Oh. Goodness me.

I met Mo only a couple of times, which were enough to get a measure.

He reminded me of my own father who, coincidentally , passed at the same age.

I take it we've missed any commemorative services, so take it as read that I and HG others would have been there.

A loss, not just to Glasgow forums, but to the world.

Commiserations.

It has always been a pleasure to read Mo's contributions to HG, he was a good sort and he'll be missed.

Very sad. He was one of the characters on HG that I would most like to have met. He always came across as being a truly nice man. Condolences to the family.

I'm saddened to hear this. He was a great contributor to HG - halfway up the first page in terms of number of posts - and on such a variety of subjects.

A loss to the forum and to the city.

Mohammed will be sadly missed by so many people. It had long been his wish to restore the old Lyceum to it's former glory and we explored the lyceum many times to recover old documents and items relating to the cinema and bingo hall. Govan and Glasgow has lost a truly wonderful man.

R.I.P Mohammed

So very sad to hear that. I met him several times and he was just one of those people you felt you had known all your life.

I always looked forward to reading his posts here and catching up with him on facebook.

A truly great Glaswegian.
