It also has the worlds only equestrian statue of Queenie Victoria and the world only revolving tower (its fine to boast that again now its fixed isnt it ). Do we not have the most public parke (per head of the population) than any city in Europe?

Sorry to burst your bubble, but type "five sided clock" into Google and you'll find that this is not true.

Yup, apparantly there's one in Cardiff and Liverpool. I looked it up after reading another thread.

And, I guess, if you typed the French or German for "five sided clock" you would find them in France and Germany. And so on for other countries and languages.

Talking of Millport Ronnie, I shall be departing for those shores on Thursday, to take in the yearly extravaganza that is the 'Millport Country & Western Festival'. Titter ye not my friends!

I don't even like C&W Music, but what a scream...... The island will be absolutely hoachin' and it's very amusing. A bunch of us have been going for the last 4 or 5 years.

I'll try and take some pics if I remain sober for long enough. Unlikely.
