I am very much a newbie but everyone has been incredibly welcoming since I've joined and the site has been a wealth of information over the years that I've been dipping in and out.

Congratulations!

Happy to raise a glass to such a great site - as long as you don't mind if it's Irn Bru! (Well, it IS a school nght!)

Happy Birthday HG and thanks Sharon

I use Facebook Twitter and 2 other forums and I have to admit I haven't used HG a lot (except today) but it's a cracking good forum and technically pleasurable to use,so thanks to everyone for keeping it going for so long and lets hope for another 11 years

Cheers
Ahm entitled to my opinion as well

To be honest, put it simply, no bullshitting....
This remains one of the very best and if I had my way for the contribution to society, community, education and social inclusion (although I've never been on a HG walk or pub crawl)...I think Sharon should be among those who receive an award - something like an OBE or MBE for services to the community - even if it is an electronic community - the people that have been brought together through this site - just wish I could join in some of the offsite activities (keep it clean you know what I mean)...
"Listen, it's too big a world to be in competition with everyone. The only person who I have to be better than is myself. And in your case, that's enough."
