are the blue lagoons really that bad or just an easy target because they are all over the city?not one near me so i cant really comment on them, there are two chippies within walking distance of my house but sad to say they are both as bad as each other.

"Buildings in Glasgow city centre were evacuated after a fire broke out in a block of flats overnight." York street . I'm sure that's listed building territory.

"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

There's a tenement on fire on Elderslie Street between Sauchiehall St and Berkeley Street.

Looks to be under control and no sign of ambulances :D

Lots of traffic disruption.
I hear the people sing.

There is what looks like pretty serious fire in Yorkhill just now. I hope everyone is safe.

I took this today when I was out and about.

As you can see on the photo from the fire, the spire has now been completely removed. From what I can work out, there's real concerns about its structural integrity- they've got a cordon up on the side where it's closest to the street. A real pity.

Not looking too good, I'd have thought (ignoring my complete lack of training in structural engineering, you understand). Having said that, the Morgan Academy in Dundee had a far worse fire, and it seems to be up and running again. I imagine it's largely down to yer insurance policy.

I'd suspect your name was asking for trouble if I didn't know better, by the way.
