Not that I want to ask questions all day, but how did you get to (what is obviously the correct URL) from the one provided (http://www.8iNtOWLS7aY), yb?

Some people hear voices.. Some see invisible people.. Others have no imagination whatsoever.

hmmm difficult one, know where they all USED to be; obvious ones were...but all of these have now been modernised and converted to automatic.

Watt Bros department store
Remnant Kings on Argyle St (within the Frasers Building)
Within Frasers itself (lift has now been decommissioned completely)
Argyle Market (now Sports World)

The office block on the corner of Dundas Lane and Buchanan Street I believe had one years ago (next to Sole Trader), not sure if it is still there. And there is another one possibly on Trongate, close to where McDonalds is - again a lot of these old office buildings have concierges or secure entry in them now so difficult to get into to have a peek unless you have a legit reason for being there....

The furniture shop on Cathedral Street. Macdonalds has one. Its operated by a spotty 16 y.o.baw bag. ::):
It's business , not personal.

I'm sure the 16 year old enjoys having to put up with older bawbags in his lift.

I always thought that building was an ex-church, in which case I'd have thought conversion long post-dated manually-operated lifts. Odd.

It's a big lift that you can get expensive leather sofas in.

He'll have a good selection of stools or poufs to sit on then. :D

I was in the lift at 82 Mitchell Street today and can confirm it ticks all the boxes: Manual, metal grate doors; wood panelling; fold-down stool; elderly lift attendant in two-piece suit (navy) who is helpful and talkative; radio playing Clyde 2. There is also another similar lift on the Mitchell Lane entrance.
Forget the Riverside Museum, this is a fabulous day out for all the family.

The lift at 82 Mitchell street is great. The chap that normally mans it is very friendly.

There's another manned lift for the building that houses China Sea and Tevendales on Gordon St/Union Street (2 entrances) The life on the Union street entrance is manned but the Gordon Street one you have to operate yourself. Could do with a bit of a scrubup but in all it's original glory
