Always amazed me how tolerant Britain was of shite lying on the pavement and in the parks whilst preaching the virtues of civic sanitation to the "third world".

i always pick up my dogs crap when she does it and bin it unless im between bins when i have to do it and it ends up floating down the river! ::):
fife council discontinued supplying free poop bags a number of years ago but i used to get at least 4 packs of bags a week 2 packs in the library and 2 packs at the local offices this has now given me a substantial stock of bags
the bags were discontinued by fife council long before david cameron came to power and announced austerity cuts
anyone here whose council still gives out free bags are lucky my advice is stock up now as these councils may announce the discontinuation of the supply of poop bags
if they do dont buy them use carrier bags or plastic bread wrapper bags instead they are only going to end up in the plastic and metal recycling wheelie bin anyway so why not use them for something useful
also why are dog crap bins locked? who the hell is going to steal a black bin bag full of bags of dog shit? apart from the neds who would think it funny to take them and strew them about on the road perhaps?

My OH buys packs of nappy sacks for the purpose - cheap, and they help to hide the smell if you need to tote them any distance.

That was when it was an SNP council and they went on to lose a by election due to their fund raising activities and cuts in public services.
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.
