With all these retiring Scottish Labour MPs at the next General Election,I'm sure that Mr Purcell will be well enough to stand in any safe seat they offer him.

The BBC is reporting that Purcell has been in Castle Craig Hospital which "specialises in treating drug and alcohol addiction".

If that fat no hoping sniffer (allegedly) goes for a seat in Westminster, he'll be among like minded souls.

Perhaps he should do the decent thing and retire from public life.

Or maybe it's all a smoke screen and he's going to lose his massive bulk, get fit and compete in his pet project, the 2014 diddy games.
