Passed by it today, site nearly cleard with the facade sandstone piled up ready to be taken away.

It Was sore to loose this one! :|

Sorry I appreciate the Cinema buffs interest in the place and also the history of the place which is fascinating. But as a building I thought it was a manky lump of a place before it caught (was set on) fire. Looked smart in it's early life no doubt, but latterly an eyesore.

I share Fossil's sentiments on the Road Closure - between that and the M74 works it is taking me an hour to get from Charing Cross to Hampden in the rush hour.

Not open comming from the city centre Foss you can pass by the Coliseum comming from Port Eglinton, and aye it is a PITA trying to get to the sooside from CC, hope it gets sorted real soon :| .

:( Yet another charming old building goes up in flames, or just enough to render it unstable, and condemned as a danger to the public that has to be pulled down immediately. How sad. Did anyone find out just how the fire started?
