Hey, I've been lurking around the forum for a while now and its been responsible for me loosing alot of sleep.

Alot of the pictures have totally fascinated me. Especially the stuff about the cold war bunkers out at the Luma lamp factory... the amount of times I've stopped at those traffic lights and never noticed!

I work beside the North Rotunda and in an effort to prove to some people that there IS a tunnel below the clyde, I stumbled onto this page.

I also spent months with my mother researching pictures of Buchanan street train station as my great grandfather was the goods station station master. We were trying to work out where the station master houses were (Under the bus station now)

I have many comments to post on many of the topics... so prepare to be driven mad :)

Cheers

Hiya, I've posted a few times but thought it was time that I said hello. I've really enjoyed the site, especially the photographs. It is also a great place for information. I must look out some old pics of Glasgow and learn how to post them. I've had many a laugh with the Glasgow patter. I really miss the quick retort and snappy Glasgow humour. Cheers everyone! :D

Awright everybody!!!

I've been posting for a while now, but I guess I should say hi to y'all again!

I've been gettin pretty disillusioned (pished rite aff) with the wanton destruction that is our heritage, and i'm harkin back to those heady days of not so long ago..... I can't get over the changes in the toon over that last 15 years, never mind the last 50!!!!

So a big hullawrerr tae wan and aw!!!!
