“The Labour administration is entirely united behind delivering what is best for the people of Glasgow.”

City Property Glasgow are using Ryden as external property agents to support the management of properties which includes property and lease management, valuation and agency services. Is their a finacial gain in doing this by getting rid of council staff. I do not for one minute suspect any wrong doing It just looks like staff cut backs thats all.

Begining of the end for Labour?

Labour in Glasgow: the long goodbye

After a chaotic budget day in Glasgow City Chambers, when Labour finally had its proposals accepted by just two votes amid resignations and rebellion, the future is uncertain.

LABOUR is facing a new threat to its control of Glasgow City Chambers, with disaffected former Labour councillors starting a rival party to field candidates in May's local election

An application has already been made to the Electoral Commission to register the new group, provisionally named Glasgow Labour.

As Ian Smart pointed out on telly this afternoon, it's possible to stick a red rosette on a monkey and get him/ her elected to Glasgow City Council. It's a lot harder without the red rosette.
