I too heard a rumour a while back that the market and all was shutting up and shipping out.

There are plenty of gigging places around. I know all the argument about the SECC, but it's not the worst place for a gig, and besides, I was there just the other night (Velvet Revolver take 3) :roll: and you get just as much beer and piss thrown on you as you would at the Barras, just as many losers with no clothes on, wiping their BO on you as you would at the barras, and prolly pay the same over-price for shit drinks as you would at the barras. What you missing?

::): true del, but then, its the same with every other venue in glasgow, at least the barras has some character to it unlike the academy. would like to check out the new abc venue though, initial reports say its lovely inside.
