What is this building?

Does anyone know what the building is on the corner of Clifton Street and Woodside Terrace Gardens?

It has the most amazing frieze right round the top.

It was a music hall, a Charles Wilson one.

I'll have photos somewhere, its just along from my office. It really is beasutiful, although ive never been inside.

It is by Charles Wilson - but not a music hall I don't think - it was built as assembly rooms and a concert hall as i understand it:

Originally the Queen's Rooms of 1897, converted to the Christian science church in 1947 (gutting the original interior, according to Buildings of Scotland: Glasgow).

it's certainly a fascinating building - I keep meaning to get some photos of the frieze. Would be interesting to see inside...
