I think one of those property's would suit a person suffering acute optical and olfactory deprivation with money to burn.

It's good to see you don't need £150,000 minimum for a one bedroom flat in the West End these days but it helps!

Offers Over? Now that's optimism :D

The 2nd looks quite simply awful. I can't believe it's on the market for more than the last one. :?

I'd buy one if not the lot throw in a cheap kitchen & bathroom fire up some fagnolia on the walls. You'll get a grant no problem for a new roof, central heating and double glazing and there you go.
Mr 93 dont be fooled by the O/O thats just a greedy estate agent, nip in to Paccitti Jones with a peat malt and an offer to lunch in Stazione to discuss the wee house down in Summerston.
They look like repo's and grannies "estate", and no one wants to keep shelling out for the council tax on their inheritance.
Lest we not forget that we have practically zero council property, an increasing imigrant population who will become more financialy well endowed, first timers priced out the market.
You can never go wrong in buying property, how long before Persimmon, Redrow & Geo Wimpy go to the city fathers looking to redevelop Summerston.
Whos in? Mr Fossil you seem like a man who knows a bargin when he sees one, anyone else? form an orderly Q ladies and gents.
HG Property Holdings TM (patent pending)
Now I hear some of you saying thats just greed but you've got to smash eggs etc..
Once we get a few bob in the bank then we can go about buying up all the threatend buildings that "unscrupulous" developers want.
We'll just keep things the way they are or restore to them to their natural beauty.*

*This is subject to the fact that no huge mind blowing offers dont come in from an other parties where we would be obliged to sell

Aye you can, have you had a close look at that maisonette?? I love the way they estate agent managed to slip the word 'Atrractive' into the description. Now that's what I call marketing. ::):

This could open up a whole new way of buying property using the Offers Under method.

OK! the challenge is try and find the cheapest, least inhabitable property on sale in and around Glasgow. Anyone got a copy of Scotlands Homes from The Herald handy?

In fact Sharon will buy it out of the petty cash if it's under £35k. 8)

Right! start scouring those property pages.

Try this one

Not cheap for what it is but definitely not habitable

I see you and Fossil both came up trumps on finding this! :D

Lets take a look at the description.....

FOR SALE - Privately owned SINGLE GARAGE within highly regarded residential locale overlooking Haggs Castle. Suitable for car/storage etc. New roof, door, communal security lighting/water supply, optional power. O/o £5,900.

I'd sooner stay in the garage than that maisonette any day! and it has a nice setting overlooking the castle. It's a bargain!

Sharon you seen the key for the cash tin?

Hold that result.
This location is only £1023, sleeps 3, when you said least inhabitable, well technically you wont actually be living here.
You'll even get a wee hand moving in.

::): good yin!

But the property must be subject to Band 'A' council Tax and have at least running water and electricity to fit the criteria.

Has it got to be in Glasgow, then? All the graves in Motherwell cemeteries have running water ;)
