Rita's fashion

Postby DickyHart » Sun Jun 26, 2005 8:46 pm

Hi folks,
I need a wee bit of help here on behalf of a freind.

Does anyone know of a shop that was called 'Rita's fashion' could have been in the gorbals or city centre, any info would be top stuff, and I'll buy you a beer at the next night out.

Dicky think it was in Pollokshaws road along from the park if I can remember it had a rather good deco frontage and as Fossil always says
take a photo as its gone now
I think there is also a shop of a similar name in Victoria road, perhaps a chain?

Reeta's fashions is at the Barras. Are the other posters getting confused regarding the Deco frontaged shop in the Southside. Are they maybe referring to Hoeys which has(just) a branch on Victoria Road and did have branches in Springburn and Partick.

There used to be a hoeys in Kilmarnock many years ago as well.

Isn't the one on Viccy road shut/shutting?

aah, one of those ones.

I take it it sells jeans and checked shirts, like the one in kilmarnock did? (although that WAS in the early 90s...)
