Following on for a wee discussion on R4 this morning, the question of how Glasgow should be pronounced was raised, with a notion there should be a correct way.
There was a suggestion that glaswegians opt for a 'z' and the 's' came down from the highlands; or perhaps up from the south of Scotland, as I am a "s" person.
Obviously there are many other variants used commonly, my Dad for example always says Glesgae (or something like that).
So, how do you say your Glasgow?
