Greetings friends. I came across this website while googling Glasgow Forums. I just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Harry Marconet. I was born in Dundee. I am searching for my birth mother and hope somone can help. I apologize if I have placed this in the wrong catergory.
I am looking for my birth mother MARION DAVIDSON, She was born May 8th, 1953 in Glascow, Scotland. I am her son and I was born on March 19,1974 at the Dundee Royal Infirmary. If anyone knows her and could please contact me I would greatly appreciate it. I am unsure if she is remarried and would now have a different last name and unsure of any siblings she may have.

Evening All,

I've been reading the forums for a good while now and I thought it was about time I registered and started posting instead of just lurking!

My name is Emma and I am a student from Glasgow currently studying for my Masters in Architectural Design. Interests include architecture, urban Design, illustration, graphics and artwork of any kind, computer-aided design, typography, photography, urban exploration and travel. I've lived in Glasgow for 19 of my 21 years and am fascinated by many of the topics discussed on here so hopefully I can now finally start to make my own contributions!

:D

Hello! I am oddjobby - David in real life!

I came across the forum when I was looking for something through google and found my way here. I spent over 3 hours reading a particular thread, so thought that made a worthy excuse to join yet another forum! However, this one is one of THE most interesting!!

Cheers the now!

Hi, just joined this minute.

I'm a mature male living in Port Glasgow, Scotland.

I was born in Govan Glasgow and brought up in the Calton.

My hobbies are writing and updating my blog.

I'll have more time tonight to have a look at this great-looking forum.

Best wishes
Scotchpotch.

Hi everyone!

I wound up here after trying to find information on red phone booths in Glasgow! Glad I came across it though, as little-known points of interest and idiosyncrasies are what I love about cities.

I've lived in various parts of Glasgow over the last 10 or so years, after living in Dunoon (of all places!), the US and London.

Hoping to learn a lot here and maybe even contribute a bit!
