 You could use the tardis as a box to store the model railway when it's not in use or when you need to take it somewhere! :D

Nice, the Stoneymeadow section is a regular feature of my walks with the mutt, quite an evocative section of long, long abandoned railway with many intact features.

Much better depth of field than the EOS 300D and whizz lines too!

That'll be near my new (well, really old) house then!

Gutted I missed the railway show in Rutherglen, I usually look at every thread in work and have no idea how it slipped past me.

I could have done better and put it in the "what's on" section.

There was a small layout there based on an early eighties depot with loads of blue and yellow locos. I didn't think I'd get any decent shots of it so I didn't bother. I rather regret that now considering the reasonable stills that came from the camcorder (they have a colour cast and I could tinker with them further). I grew up in that era and if I ever find somewhere to live with enough space, I might build something from that time.

I'm waiting for Heljan to release their Class 52 Westerns in OO which would make a good start.

Meantime, I'd like some carriages to go with my Clan Buchanan. LMS Maroon perhaps?

Never LMS maroon, as these locomotives did not appear until December 1952, by which time LMS maroon would have been rare, especially as a full rake. Blood and Custard yes, but I would go for BR maroon, which is a slightly different shade from the LMS.

After 40 years of collecting and building stock (my brother and me didnt help) and 3 years of track laying my Dad has finally completed a loop of the attic.

So to try out my £12 video camera from ebay I made a ride on video.
