That new Tamron lens is being promoted quite a lot , but the review ( in Amateur Photographer I think ) was enough to sew doubts in anyone's mind, although as LP says it is a trade off and the review was far from negative overall. You balance the convenience and never having to change a lens against the optical compromise.

Cheers for that, i think ill stick with the two lenses, was just thinking may be easier but if it compromises quality...bugger that
