It's lovely to see that Tesco 'want' to 'consult' with the 'local community'.
What they don't mention is that they refused to do this with the last application, despite requests from MP's and MSP's.
They refused to provide a physical or 3D model, and when the community arranged one of their own, they claimed it was wrongly sized, even though their own drawings falsified the heights of buildings.
What they also don't mention is that Planning Law has changed, and they now HAVE to consult interested parties.
As mentioned in the article, there are a lot of people who are now voting with their feet and shopping elsewhere, so they had better get it done properly this time and actually listen, otherwise there will be no need for a bigger store!
