Yeah Onni, i was reaming off some sites, some with permission some without to try and make the same point you are making, that it really doesnt matter....

I can perfectly understand your arguments. In my undergraduate course we could not select sites with an already issued permit. But maybe this is done only in Malta. Yes, btw, I'm Maltese and I know nothing or really little of the Glaswegian situation about these things. In fact, i have never visited Glasgow and from September I will be living there for on whole year.

Now, back to my argument, in my undergrad in architecture brownfield sites or completely derelict sites were preferred!!!

My best advice to you in that case would be to come here and set aside a week or so to take a walking tour around the city. This way you will get a feel for the place, warts and all, and also should notice a few decent sites for a project.

In fact, that is the best advice i can think of for any architecture student - look, then look again.
