Govan

Postby saltirepride » Sun May 10, 2009 7:55 pm

Was out for a wee wander in Govan today (as you do!) and took a few pics down at the old dock area.

We decided to try out full zoom on the camera without the tripod, my subject being a fella drinking his carry out in the sun.

When we got back and had a look at the images we noticed there was a fox lying in the sun.

Dont you just love it when take a snap and realise the image has more to it than imagined?

Yeah know what you mean.

I like the pic for the fact that i never even knew the fox was there and the object we were attempting to focus on has came out blury with the wee fox in clear view! hehe.

Hi Wullie, wot a great social pic 2 legged fox meets 4 legged fox and all manage to co-habit ::): It `s also appreciated that the pic has been taken across the river as anyone who doesn`t know Govan wouldn`t know :D

Sometimes it`s not about the quality of the pic more the quantity :D

Ah. Having dutifully searched for Govan I neglected to check which section the thread was in.

Thank YOU, Mori :D

A slightly (very) more than perfunctory check for an old Govan photo thread revelealed nothing of use, so I'll pop these in here if I can ..

Our style correspondent asks "Has that photo been reversed" or do the men in your family wear ladies' jackets?
"I before E, except after C" works in most cases but there are exceptions.

Straight scan form the original Dex .. identical. The negative must have been processed incorrectly.

Or there's a hidden facet to the Allan gene pool I'm not fully au fait with.
