I'd like to see a discussion on the nitty gritty of what's actually happening in Glasgow.
I don't know about anyone else, but I feel impedant whenever I see yet another historic building be demolished for yet more "luxury flats", or even worse, become a waste ground for the next 30 years.
There has to be some official body set up with the teeth & balls to say "NO, that old building has an place in the fabric of the city, find an way to incorporate it into the plan, even if it's just the outer walls".
And where new build is concerned, the same body should have the authority to refuse the sort of awful designs which have been inflicted on us over the past 40 years. The crap that has gone up in the last 5-10 years shows the city has learned nothing.
