Makerspaces in Glasgow

It's been many years since I've haunted the towerblock demolition forums around here, but I'm back to pick the brains of the wise and the beautiful...

Does anyone know of any spaces where you can go along to work on woodwork projects? I've heard of makerspaces popping up, but mainly for people interested in coding up gadgets. There don't seem to be any kitted-out workshops that people can rock up and use, with the exception of perhaps Fab Lab at the University of Strathclyde. The downside of that one is it's only open 10-4 on weekdays, which doesn't really fit with a 9-5 day job.

I've seen a couple of social enterprises designed to get folks back into work, but I'm not sure that's the kind of place that'd be suitable for the casual, irregular visitor who isn't looking to work on projects for clients of the service.

Ta!
