Two bedroom flat, heating on from 1am till 6am (I think), got double glazing, external insulation and the housing recently put that knauf insulation on the inside. Only ever use the heater in the living room but when the temp does eventually plummet I'll prob need to put the hall one on at least which will no doubt add £10 or so to the cost. Putting the bedroom ones on would be madness I think

This probably wants a separate thread.

Piledriver's quiet today. It's probably trying to breed with the O2 phone mast. Only just got a signal...

Twenty quid a week on leccy? Only if I have the heating on for a hour or so in the evening and wear ski-gear at other times. I have a fairly large one-bed flat with single glazing. I'm looking at about forty-five a week at the moment.

Piledriver's quiet just now (1736). Usually he gives it laldy at about this time of day, like a drinky person just before last orders.

Here you go Helen knock yersel oot & save £25-30 a week on your heating bill ::):

Remember 56k modems? I'm lucky if I'm getting 3k at the moment, so that's not going to load. I know the stuff you mean though.
