If you haven't already please consider signing the petition for a shipbuilding heritage park at Govan Graving Docks and share it with your friends:

https://www.change.org/p/glasgow-city-c ... govandocks

There is also a petition calling on the Scottish Government to designate the docks as a National Scheduled Monument:

Just heard about the fires today.

Thankfully it looks as though it has remained intact - intact as it was anyway.

.

Passed the Graving docks, Wednesday evening.
Gates were open, seemed rude not to.

Mainly weak but some slightly better grafitti clocked,
rather than the usual arsebursted keech from knownothings.

Reading through the material on the Govan Graving Docks it is surprising to note that no one appears to be aware of the proposal to turn the Docks into a Maritime Museum?Skill training centre. The proposal fell through the political floorboards and the City wound up with the Shed. Pity!
