Since GHA weren't really gaining an asset by demolishing Blythswood Court, just the liability of rehousing all those tenants and clearing a tiny piece of ground, albeit in the city centre, they put new ownership to a Second Stage Transfer ballot.


If you look at the Anderston masterplan which was published a few years ago, the plan is to eventually get rid of the rest of the megastructure and just leave the three towers.
