15 coll place demolition

thought i would start this thread with the news that 15 coll place germiston is now empty(has been for a month)and is awaiting the demolition contractors moving in.

in the lobby of the block there is a photo of the first of the 3 germiston blocks being blown down, took photos and will post soon!

Safedem are now stripping 15 coll place of its windows and fitting got pics post them soon

just starting to pull down the big landboilers building in clydebank,almost a year late.between stanford st and the canal.enough corrugated iron sheets to build a new township.

took the words right out of my mouth morrie, noticed the window sunday and poped up, can confirm safedem is the demolition contractor for 15 coll place.

was up at the block today and on the east side of the building there is a gha and safedem banner in situ, broom field rd at the wee railway bridge is the best spot to watch the demolition, 6am blowdown as per forge place's demolition due to the railway line proximety, but am not sure of this till closer to blowdown day!

Saw that last night passing on my way to cumbernauld, theres a GHA sign to the left of the safedem one now

was up at the site on friday and found out a 2am demolition is on the cards, you heard it here first!

am posting an appoligy(i am sorry) for letting the 2am time be posted by myself, as 15 coll place was knocked down at 1.35am this morning i was at broomfield road and word spread around 1am that the block was being dropped early.
