Postby Josef » Sat Feb 06, 2010 9:51 am

Drinks night moved from the Friday, walk from the Sunday. Double the fun!

Springburn and environs.

Points of interest (courtesy of Vinegar Tom) : St Rollox Works , Martyr's Monument , Springburn Fire station , Springburn Halls , Atlas , Cowlairs & Hydepark Works , surviving tenements , North British Locomotive Works Offices , a hidden "castle", Reid's statue and a skeletal winter garden

Walk - meet at High Street station, 11:00.

Drinks Night - Flyer by Fossil.

Do I look like a man who knows where Springburn is? Meet-up point now amended.

Thanks for the refreshments suggestion, Dex.

Or a 320, then youd have to hide under the seats, on the luggage racks.

Good idea, Stevie. Should take us an hour to get from High St. to Springburn station ( ::): ) so we all meet up at the station around 1pm? Nice place for some past presents, btw.

Goodness. It'll be Field Marshall Shug next. :D

Welcome back, McShad. Although who could resist the lure of an HG walk in Springburn?

Right, you. Enough of that. I've only just been talked into starting from High Street Station. But HH's idea is fine - meet there at 1p.m. if you can't make the 11 a.m. start.

Nice photo VT. But what on earth is that thing that HH has in his hand?
