The laurel and Hardy nights return to the Panoptican on wednesday march 4,th . doors open at 6.30pm and the films start at 7.00pm . :D

It is a brilliant night but get there sharp if you want a seat.

My Dad just loved laurel and Hardy...he was deaf and it was something he could understand..Laurel was from Rutherglen wasnt he?

Stan Laurel was born in Cumbria (Ulverston, I think), There's a Stan Laurel museum down there somewhere.

Apparently, his old man ran theatres though, so the family were based in Glasgow for while (might be wrong, I wasn't paying that much attention to the programme I saw on telly a few years back) - that may be where the Rutherglen reference comes in
