Come and be guided through the process of researching local history, and pick up some helpful hints on presenting your results. The course introduces a wide variety of sources, including official records, maps, photographs, censuses, directories and newspapers.

Thanks Ronnie - I'll pop in tomorrow morning and see what the situation is. I'd tried to enrol last time but left it too late and it had been cancelled. I didn't know it was being repeated until I came across this thread. I'm booked on another course at DACE that clashes, but I would swap if the local history was definitely going to be on.
