NEW - Researching and presenting local history
Do you have a favourite building, place or organisation you'd like to know more about? Interested in researching the history of your house? Come and be guided through the process of researching local history, and pick up some helpful hints on presenting your results. The course introduces a wide variety of sources, including official records, maps, photographs, censuses, directories and newspapers.

Thanks Ronnie - I'll pop in tomorrow morning and see what the situation is. I'd tried to enrol last time but left it too late and it had been cancelled. I didn't know it was being repeated until I came across this thread. I'm booked on another course at DACE that clashes, but I would swap if the local history was definitely going to be on.
