Glasgow Green again, blast your ears with a useless DJ from 6:30 or turn up for the big bangs at 7:30pm

This year's is on the 6/11 and is at the Clydebank Titan, which will give a much more interesting backdrop.

It's usually good, apart from the crap "laser display" year.

No tickets required - unless you want to sit with the VIPs.

If you are following Mr HH's suggestion, i would recommend the fish and chips, lovely.

I am unfortunately going for a big slap up meal that night (mothers birthday) so will be standing at Queens Park I think watching the fireworks from afar this year.

Sharon - a good display, but better if you are in a crowd. Much better than buying your own!

Is Queens Park having it's own display, or did you mean you'll be watching the GG ones from there ?

I ahve to say that I'm not inclined to return to The Green show again after my experience a couple of years or so back. By general agreement here and elsewhere was that it was crappy. Poor access and crowd control, really awful music that was not co-ordinated with the fireworks. Event the firewarks somehow seemd not as good as before.

Friends have gone to the Queens Park vantage point for a couple of years running now and recommend it. So that's what I think I'll try this time.
