haven't been to "T" in the park in 3 years, I think next year I'll give it a visit!

The wife said the next time she goes shes wants a caravanette (hope I spelt that right?) to sleep in, she must be nuts! She'll be in my £40 tent or at home! Caravanette my ass, :).

I have to say last time we went my mate and I took a cool box way lotsa food in it and we cooked fries each morning, it saved us a fortune and met so many people because of it, I think we gave most of the food away to random passer bys, Would definately do that again!

This translates from female into "the wife wants to stay at a 5 star hotel and spa weekend with a quick trip of to T In the Park".

I am not overly infatuated by cultural events which are so blatantly sponsored by corporations. Couldn't some of these bands put-up some of their own money or some record company money to stage a festival as a thanks to the fans with any profits going to Wateraid or some other grand cause.

Instead of kind-hearted people going to a festival and then fire-bombing a Burger King, we are getting closer to a day when someone like a former US Vice President (whose wife Tipper thinks rock music is evil) will organise his own music event. I did dream Live Earth? That could not have been real.
