ps 1 of my friends was in sloans for the 1st time tonight and said the service was appalling!

Erm, mebbe. Wasn't impressed with Sloans when it was Bastille, but it might be worth a look. And now I know what some o youse look like! ::):

I have been at Sloans several times recently and the service was always excellent. I will be there again tomorrow and will play pub spy and report back.

Well said, John, I must agree, Sloans is a fine wee establishment, a tad pricey, but hey, the photos are so good.

Please ignore any further pish posts from the obviously pished J73 :)
