As part of the Six Cities Festival Prospect is organising a debate on the future of the city. It will look at both ‘post–industrial’ cities, like Glasgow, and expanding urban centres across the world. The speakers will be Keith Brownlie from Wilkinson Eyre, the designer of Newcastle’s Stirling Prize-winning bridge, artist Toby Paterson and writer and commentator Austin Williams. Each speaker will give a short presentation and then we will embark on a Question-Time-style debate. Tickets for the event are free and should be ordered by calling 0141 204 4400.
